  1. Yes, the US & UK should have done something about Iraq years ago (e.g. condemned Halabja at least)but that doesn’t mean to say that war is wrong. It’s like saying that we shouldn’t have attacked Hitler because we didn’t stop him when he took the Sudetenland.

    Finally to link the Iraq situation to Israel is ridiculous. Yes, Israel probably has nuclear weapons but no UN resolution under Chapter 7 has been imposed on Israel to disarm. Also, Israel needs them as a deterrent – if you didn’t agree with my points previously, you can’t argue with this one:

    If the Arabs put down their weapons, there would be peace. If the Israelis put down their weapons, they would be driven into the sea.
