The New York Sun article I just found is really really scary. Basically it’s a direct attack on any American’s freedom of speech….
Blimey. Object and you’re anti-american. It made me think of the Samuel Johnson’s quote “Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel”. However, I’m afraid that Murdoch doesn’t own the NY Sun. He does however own the Post, which has some equally deranged copy within its pages, i.e.
HOW DARE THE FRENCH FORGET
And of course we see it here with Murdoch’s ridiculously pro-war Sun. He’s just stirring the pot, sitting back and thinking about how a war’s gonna increase his tv ratings and newspaper circulation.
Oops yeah. Just realised that Murdoch hasn’t quite got his hands on every newspaper in the world. That other article is pretty shocking though.
