So I arrived in Casablanca yesterday evening and havent really had a chance to see or do anything yet apart from probably realising that Casablanca is the economic capital of Morocco and there is not a great deal to do. The place seems quite westernised, moreso than the rest of the country I think (I will soon find out!) Its great that everyone speaks French and actually understands what I am talking about too, and getting used to this French keyboard again reminds me of slogging away in the bank I used to work in in France.

So off to explore for a bit then hopefully a train South this afternoon to Marrakech or Essaouira for a more chilled introduction to the country.
